Hankins waited it out last year too and finally got the deal he wanted from Indy. Him leaving yesterday really not a surprise.

In regards to free agency and our plan...Pryor, McClain and McGee last year. A year later, we still have the same problems on the Dline and no running game. Bruce needs to do better.

Hankins would be a major upgrade, get it done.

I didn't like McClain or McGee last year, and Scandrick is a wait and see this year. Other than that, I think they have been building the team through the draft, like we all clamored for them to do.

We should address DL, OG, and/or RB early, and add a few nice pieces in the later rounds.

I like your SB bet over that one. Hankins and the Skins passed on each other last year, so I won't be shocked whichever way it goes. Hopefully you are right on both accounts!

Cant argue with we still need work in these two areas. However I do believe last years injury bug was a statistical anomaly. Look at the vikings from 2 years ago. I love the one year prove it deal, then pay for production with Zac Brown. I would really be interested in how Eric Shaffer plays into this from a strategy point of view. I am not sure it gets better than him league wide. We always seem to have wiggle room and not very much in the way of dead money.

I agree about free agency and the bad signings last year. Scandrick falls in that same category. Injury prone 31 year old is not want I want tie up valuable cap money on. Plus his play has diminished over the last two to three years.
We need Hankins and a bulldozer left guard. Shawn Lauvau is not the answer. So we better not resign him. Stopping the run and fixing our o-line has to be our priorities or else our hope for playoffs dies before the season starts.

Sylvester Williams coming in for a visit. Perhaps Hankins is asking too much money?

I think the Skins are doing due diligence. Gotta bring in a guy who can give you good rotation snaps, but may not need to be "THE" guy. Still want Hankins tho.

Why would the Skins want a guy with 12 tackles (8 assists) ? They already have a few mediocre DTs.

#Colts are signing former #Redskins WR Ryan Grant, who failed his physical with the #Ravens, per @89JonesNTAF

Not sure but I trust Tomsula - if he wants this guy then I say go for it.

Hope it's for good money. If it's close to $7M per season it should be worth another 5th round compensatory pick.

Good for him. And bad business by the Ravens. Just another reason to hate that smug organization.
