Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
It will be too bad if Lorenzo Alexander leaves. But he has to do what is best for him. We have an unfortunate situation dealing with this salary cap penalty crap, but at least we will keep most if not all of our players who had expired contracts going into the offseason. We just couldn't do much in free agency. Let's hope we hit big in the draft. HTTR!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yup. Wish the One Man Gang nothing but the best. As great as he is character-wise, I believe that Shanallen are cultivating more guys like him on the roster.
Guys like Zo - moderate talent, hard workers - aren't exactly dime a dozen but are a lot more replaceable than a Moss or a Davis.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
I'm really pissed that Lorenzo couldn't be retained, I will miss his ass kicking hits on ST and his high character personality. I hope one day he retires a Redskin, a true team player and Redskin!!

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
All of this is happening because of stupid a$$ Mara and his buddy Roger Gotohell. If we had that 18M this would be no problem to keep Zo and other quality FAs.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
Without thinking about the cap/money - I would love to have Bush.
Mostly because with him we keep RG3 on the safer side of the line of scrimmage more often.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
I would like this:
John Keim @john_keim According to a source, the #Redskins have expressed interest in CB Antoine Winfield, who was cut by the #Vikings on Tuesday. |

AW is one tough son of a gun . I wish he were younger , however he is a Buckeye ! Should he sign with the Redskins , may he be a leader and have a great year/s while in DC. He should also be a nice mentor for Crawford / Minnifield .

Winfield can't stay on the field. I'd like to see a you get less injury prone player be signed.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013
Winfield when on the field is the type of corner I think we need. I don't think we are going to go out and find a corner who has the skill set, and is an always healthy guy, and will accept what we can pay.
just a fact of the penalty. |
