Re: MLB thread
Big…I like him so much more than wimpy Kris Bryant. He’s the better player on that Cubs roster

Max deserves another shot at a title and he isn't gonna get that with us. He played out his contract and now trading him will pick us up assets that can be used to rebuild the team to be a contender again. It was a no-brainer imo. Love the guy - hope he goes into the HOF in a Nats uni - but this was a smart business move. The Nats have the worst farm system in the game and that's the price they paid to win a title. It has to be rebuilt if you expect to contend again.

Re: MLB thread
It's possible, but if they don't I expect multiple prospects in return.

Re: MLB thread
The Lerner's pretty much suck but what we do have is a great GM in Rizzo. I will be tuning in to see this kid Gray pitch tomorrow.

Re: MLB thread
Braves are finally over .500. This has been one fucker of a season. But sweeping the Cardinals is always fantastic.

Rizzo is not one to sit on his ass if things aren't working. Leonsis could take a cue from him - it took him wayyyyy too long to get rid of Grunfeld and Scotty Brooks.

Re: MLB thread
Is Rizzo a great GM if the farm system is completely devoid of talent?
