His story about patting down his friend and taking his pipe to throw out later is a total crock. I'm sorry but that's just a lame ass story and I don't believe it for one second.

I have to admit, I have grown to basically like Michael Irvin and enjoy his ESPN commentary. I listend to the Dan Patrick interview with him yesterday. I was VERY disappointed when pressed by DP "are you going to put this to bed and take a drug test"? He mumbled some BS about checking with attorney's, possible legal hangups, blah, blah, blah!!!!! makes him look guilty in IMO

I personally believe that the Hall of Fame should be reserved for players who were not only great on the field, but served as role models off the field. To me, those are the players who should be recognized. As great as MI was when he played, I believe things like this should hurt his chances. What about the guys like Art Monk who quitely did their job on the field and appeared to be role models off the field?
