Exactly. I bet he's more mobile than Culpeper. I mean you can only run SO fast being that huge.

Re: campbell is culpepper clone?

As long as Jason doesn't develop that annoying "do-the-hustle roll your hands around" thing, I'm fine. Why does Culpepper think that looks good?

Re: campbell is culpepper clone?

Culpepper has won a few important season games. Nothing to speak of in the playoffs in fact you might label him a choker. HE is a big guy who gets away from teams because of speed and strength. Anybody remember last year against the skins. Our defense dominated them but he was like Tarkenton back there. Was very impressive.

What has Campbell won, a SEC title. So did Steve Spurrier and we all know what happened there. I have reservations about Campbell put he also has not played a down yet so I feel it would be unfair to give my opion till seen.

Campbell hasn't even taken a snap! It's like saying "what if the Nazis won"...it's way too hypothetical.
Won what? WWII or the soccer game against the allied POWs in "Victory"?

I hate to say this, but Campbell reminds me of Tony Banks more than anyone else. Watching him at Auburn reminded me of Tony Banks at Michigan State which scares me to death.

Re: campbell is culpepper clone?

I'm probably gonna end up getting yelled at for this but I liked Tony Banks. Schottenheimer was never known for qb friendly offenses, and Banks might have been a star if he had the system and supporting talent around him. Incredible arm, great mobility, good size and strength, and a lot of guts. Too bad his accuracy wasn't better.

Re: campbell is culpepper clone?

Someone here compared Jason Campbell to a young Doug Williams and said that Campbell had a better touch on his long throws. I hope that's right.

When Williams was a rooke and for his first few seasons with the Bucs, he had lots of trouble with the deep ball. Tha Ayatullah Khomeni was in charge in Iran at the time and the Bucs' coach once said that Doug Williams was the only person in Earth who could overthrow the Ayatullah.

Good line. And it gives you an idea how much Doug Williams progressed as a QB in his career.

Carry on...

Why would we yell at you when it would be so much easier to laugh. Best joke I have heard all year.

Jesus, I knew Hall was big, but 240! Maybe we should move him to DE.
