Re: Around the NFL - Week 7

If we could combine the suckage required to get JD with actually drafting players that didn't fucking suck in the 1st round, we would be like top tier super bowl contenders this year. But, I'll take J.D., Harris, and Peters for $5k Alex (RIP).

Is there any RR era pick that has been productive for us or any other team with the exception of Cosmi?

very true . . . he was underutilized . . . not bad, just not used anywhere near enough

That 3rd round pick is looking hot in the streets in 2025.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 7

I watched the Eagles game yesterday. I think Hurts threw to Dotson once. His career is just going to die there. Just wondering if perhaps he's just not that good and is just a guy. But he's not going to get many balls there w/ AJ Brown and Smith ahead of him. Not a good trade for Howie. He usually makes good ones but this was a bad one.

Giants GM after yesterday can't feel too good about his job. Saquan ran all over them. You can not let your best player walk out the door and go to your division rival. You just can't do that.

I'm just glad we finally beat the Giants so we can at least somewhat hold a straight face laughing at them. We need to sweep them this year. It's a mandate. I want that monkey of our back thrown into the pits of hell.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 7

I think you have to look at the first Giants game as Jayden finding his feet then coming out the next week with pretty much everything clicking. We scored on all 7 drives, just not TD's; that will change next time. The D wasn't good, but did hold them to 3 TD's (which would have meant a tied game if they'd had a kicker); that will change next time. The Giants are all at sea and we've shown we're in a position to win should win games. Right now the Eagles are who I'm wary of, not the Giants or the Cowboys.

Ravens might not lose again. This might be their year.

The Buccaneers has lost both Evans (probably for several weeks) and Godwin (likely for the remainder of the season) tonight.

And the Bucs' Godwin just got carted off the field; Mike Evans left earlier with a hamstring injury. That's devastating for the Bucs.

Ravens are pretty legit, I'm curious to see if they can overcome their playoff woes.
