Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
It all depends on the details. What did they trade ? And how much does Smith get in his extension?

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
The saga is over! I'm happy. Its not even close to July yet. Team must've got tired of waiting and said eff it, he gone! Now we need to trade down in the 1st recoup the draft pick and move on. I'll take it.

Re: Redskins Trade for Alex Smith
Remember, we were a mediocre team with KC and now we are well positioned to stay the course with Alex Smith. We're winning off the field again!

Re: Redskins Trade for Alex Smith
I wonder if he has thick enough thighs to go for a qb sneak?

Wow the Redskins must’ve REALLY wanted Cousins gone.

Re: Redskins Trade for Alex Smith
Cousins wasn’t going to take $23.5/year so they found someone who will.

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
I approve, pending finding out who the player to be named is. Alex Smith will be very successful with Gruden, every bit as successful as Cousins, if not better. He’s mobile and throws on the run very well.
But if we gave up a meaningful player I don’t anticipate being happy. But ultimately, if you thought Cousins wanted to be here, you were kidding yourself all along.
