Re: Hawks post game

Not sure what plays Jay can call with that o-line. Seemed to work out in the end.

Great win. Great team effort. Love the D, and that was a bad-ass drive to win it. Doctson can ball. Loved the secondary. Great to see D-hall back.

Needed that one. I hate Seattle!

We also need to do something about the running game.

We can't trust Perine, Kelly has been OK but not great, and Thompson is not an 3 down back.

My issue with Gruden is that he's not moving KC around at all. No read option, very little boots, no rolling pockets. He's got to do more in that area with the way the line is.

Re: Hawks post game

Sounds like Scherff and Nicholson were active because there was no more room for inactives, yet there was no chance they would play so they had to stand in uniform on the sideline. Crazy the NFL doesn't have a method to counteract that.

Like what? I don't think the running game can get fixed until the off season. Even with everyone healthy running it is a struggle. Kelley is just average and Perine is obviously just not ready. The current state of the line is a mess. At this point we just run to keep the defense honest, not to actually gain yards.

I don't know, but you can't win many games without a running game. Although it is going to be tough doing anything given how many injuries we have.

Watching the game again, one killer D play that jumped out was Norman's takedown of Rawls on a 3rd and 1 that stopped a 4th quarter drive. Had a stiff arm in the face and just crushed him by taking that arm and pinning it to the turf. We really missed him.

Luckily there are a lot of RBs in the draft this year

Look at what Peterson has done with the Cardinals, could have easily had had him here as the lead back...pissrine and slow rob backing him up. Thompson as 3rd down and special package back

That was a huge play for sure. Turning point.
