think of him like daryll gardener back in the day. you take him for one year and get 12 sacks, then you let him walk without making an offer. he can behave for one year (maybe), just don't give him real money.
if we pass, i'm cool with that too, he's a one year rental and we're not going to the super bowl anyways. the saints ate 17mill to ditch him, and, well... that's pretty daming. |

Surprised. Saints pay $17 million to get rid of him. I'm trusting McLovin, I'm assuming he has inside info -- or trusts Knighton to help him since they know each other.

I love our GM. So how about this deal? Someone else pays him $17-18 million NOT THE REDSKINS, that's a first. Then they cut him. We basically look at him and say here is some "minimum wage money, do what's right, keep your nose clean and oh by the way if you want to know how to act, look over on the opposite side of the field at that guy named Kerigan and act like him and look what you will get paid." In the last 2 days Scott McCloughan has acted more like a GM than any GM we have had since Bobby Beathard.

I'm no moralist when it comes to football.
I don't know this guy from jack. All I've heard is rumor and I've done no research to find out the facts. From a football aspect the upside far outweighs the downside for me. Junior is a legit edge rusher. Ryan+Hatcher+Paea+Junior is a hellacious pass rush. |
