Re: Freddie Mitchell as a Redskin?

Yes, AND we are always talking about how we have a bunch of #2 receivers on the team, he doesn't even fit into THAT category. He's a #3 at best.

I wouldn't even consider F.Mitchell to be #3. He's a 4 at best.

Re: Freddie Mitchell as a Redskin?

Mitchell mentioned being interested in the Redskins, not the other way around. There is absolutely no way we sign this clown.

Re: Freddie Mitchell as a Redskin?

Why the hell would he mention us? Maybe because we used to overpay?

Re: Freddie Mitchell as a Redskin?

i'd rather be zipped up in a body bag, tossed 6 ft underground with my remains being slowly eaten by maggots and worms than have freddie mitchell on our team.

or whatever....

Re: Freddie Mitchell as a Redskin?

Someone said earlier that Gibbs could sit down with him and judge his character.

I don't think that would be necessary. He's made it blatantly obvious that he cares for no one but himself.

I would hope that Gibbs would'nt even waste his time with Mitchell. I would love to see him sit out the whole year without anyone picking him up.

I saw this guy performing with the Chuck E. Cheese band last weekend! We don't need a distraction or a clown in our locker room.

Re: Freddie Mitchell as a Redskin?

http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/8457892

You have to subscribe to sportsline, but the little intro suggests that Mitchell is interested in Denver, Washington, Tampa Bay, and a fourth team that isn't important enough for me to remember.

Of course, that isn't to say these teams are interested in him...but between Mitchell and Gardner, I think I would have to keep Gardner IF I had to have one or the other.
