Punch, how was it? The setlists of Saturday and Sunday were very solid.

Saturday was great. Punch u in the eye. Rock and Roll and Hood. Second set got seriously out there. First set was great too. Became a huge fan of Wingsuit after this show. I love the new album. Tube first tube encore. Joy was kind of a bummer. Lol.
Took the train and ferry up which got a little annoying but had a car ride back home. I was in bed by 1:00, and my friends that took a train home werent in until 3:30-4. Loved the venue. Heard alot of bad things about it but Id go back in a heartbeat. Enjoy Portsmouth!

Carini has been insane the last couple years...which is awesome because its been a favorite for a long time. Hampton show last fall I went to was insanely killer and the Carini that second set was the crown jewel...it was just rocking for 15 minutes and then funked out for the last several minutes.

yeah whenever they place a Punch in a set opener, it just gets the crowd rilled up for a throwdown which is always a plus

Yeah I actually watched about an hour of the second set. Not bad stuff, Dave had that Richmond connection back in the day playing the Flood Zone (club) every Thursday night back in the early, early 90s. I remember smoking a joint with some friends listening to what would become remember 2 things album. He just exploded with that second album, the buzz around town was pretty big.

I got to speak with the drummer at Dullas airport back in 98, really really cool guy.

I think his band is just awesome. As for his voice - sometimes he sounds like the male Alanis Morisette.

And the fact Hornsby is on keys too? This is gonna be a throw down and gonna be super messy. Set some bail money aside as well, just in case

I actually met Dave Matthews at Busch Gardens Williamsburg a few years back. He was super nice. He took the time to break away and take a picture with me.

Oddly enough, I was rocking the 2012 NFC champs shirt for that picture. In retrospect, that shirt purchase was a bad idea...
