Re: Redskins Vs Chiefs Pre game thread

I took a part time position on weekends and now I'm going to miss my first Skins game this season.

It's a bittersweet moment.

Its just a minimum wage, seasonal gig at Hot Topic. I've always wanted to work there so when they offered me the job I jumped at the chance.

The tickets themselves might be wor something 20-30 years from now long after both teams were forced to change their names

Probably our only shot. If the game turns into a slop fest and neither team can pass the ball, then we stand a chance.

I was thinking the other way around,I think it would be worse for us.We've already proven we cant win a game even when we rush for 200 yards{minnesota}We cant tackle anybody in good weather, how we gonna tackle Charles in bad weather?

I thought RG3 made some progress last week and was looking forward to seeing if he could do the same this week, but it bad weather I dont think thats going to happen.

Re: Redskins Vs Chiefs Pre game thread

I really don't give a damn who wins this game. Right now, I want just two more things out of this season:

1. No major injuries.
2. The Shanahan era to end.

It is more important for Dan Snyder not to fire Mike Shanahan. That is the true indication that he has matured as an owner. Give Mike time to work it out. Add Kubiak and Alex Gibbs. Then change the D-coordinator. I promise this team will be legit.

Does anybody actually get the sense that we have a chance?

Yes. Although I am not predicting a win, the Chiefs could overlook us. And sooner or later we'll put together a solid game in all three phases.

Here. I think with the talent we have we should be able to be at least competitive in all our games and therefore should be able to win in close contest especially at home. I think when you look at talent and depth, we are probably average in the league.

My biggest condemnation of the Shanny regime this year is with that said above is our coaching staff hasnt been able to get the most out of talent and the team has been grossly inconsistent in play; not only from game to game, but half to half. Which points directly to coaching.

We havent play a consistent game with all facets of the team excelling in a half all year. Which means we are unprepared and cant adjust. Coaching, coaching, coaching

Sure we've been in hurt lack talent at WR, secondary which is obvious. But when I see the Dline and Oline regress from last year I really have a hard time understanding that.

We can win this game if we come out prepared and play at a consistent level all game.

Re: Redskins Vs Chiefs Pre game thread

There is no team in the NFL that doesn't have a shot to win against the Chiefs, and last I checked the Redskins were still in the NFL, so they definitely have a shot.

The problem is that the Redskins are exactly the team that the Chiefs were built to beat. Mistake-prone, impatient, lots of weaknesses to exploit. If the Chiefs play their game, they'll pull away from the Redskins late. But the first half will be more competitive than a lot of people who just look at the Chiefs as a 9-3 team will believe. These teams will look equal for a quarter, maybe even two.

Re: Redskins Vs Chiefs Pre game thread

Sure the percentages are there technically, but I'm saying the chiefs playing at their 2013 best against us playing at our 2013 best. It just isn't likely we win.
