Re: Skins vs DA BEARS pre game thread
I think if we continue to script plays for Rob to be running, we won't have him ever healthy and to be so bone headed that means we will also have Kyle as the OC. If we ever want to build a winning franchise, than we need to have a system for Rob to mature and be a real QB that drops back and throws to our overpaid targets. If he runs, it better be b/c everyone is covered. We'd be doing us a disservice by enabling the demise of his career. Unless all you want is hype and subway style marketing commercials. Me, I'd rather have a f'kn championship team that doesn't need gimmicks to win. At least look like the sport that originated as lining up man to man and the great slinging Sammy which evolved this sport further by passing. Want QB option? Than tune into smarter nfl teams or NCAA. It has no future to benefit from in DC, really MD, but mostly VA.

Looks like it wasn't all on Danny Smith now. This, very well, could be another game where ST play screws up the Skins.

Re: Skins vs DA BEARS pre game thread
I had a light of hope before last week, but I'm about as done with this team as I ever have been. I don't think I posted anything this week, and barely have come to the warpath. It's a shame that whatever the issues are with this team they led to a waste of a rising year. At least St Louis is happy...

We all want to win and Rg3 running gives us the best chance but its not whats best for his career. He needs to learn to read defenses and quit locking into 1 receiver.

Re: Skins vs DA BEARS pre game thread
My mistake.. The way you numbered your issues was like a multiple choice of the options. Which basically happens to every NFL team during the season.

Yeah, I've been waiting for that too. But unfortunately... It's another notch in the L column. I can't honestly predict a win until I see some significant and sustained improvement on the field. |

We need to let him run. He did it to perfection last game, big games and ended the runs safely. WHY does everyone ignore or forget that he was NOT hurt on any designed runs last year? If we don't use his legs, we would have been better off drafting Tannehill. We brought him in to run and win. The two cannot be separated, at least until he develops into a pure pocket passer. He can do it, but we'd be wasting his abilities and talent. Besides, I don't think we could stop him from running if we wanted to. ROBERT is too competitive to sit back in the pocket and ignore opportunities to make plays for his team.
