Plus Kerrigan actually goes for the strip and forces fumbles. He was a fumble-forcing machine at Purdue as well. I love having them both - each makes the other better since opposing offenses can't just key on one pass rusher anymore.

Ryan Kerrigan: Love this guy. His sack/fumble was awesome. He continues to be a weekly beast. Definitely a strong candidate for DROY.

Leonard Hankerson: 8 catches for 106 yards. Welcome to the NFL, rook. Maybe if we can get you a QB you'll turn into that #1 WR this team has been lacking for so many years.

Perry Riley: A solid effort starting over Rocky today. 7 solo tackles.

That's all I got.
This is why you have to let these young guys get out there and just play. We already know Kerrigan can play. But Hank and Riley were really outstanding today.

Rocca is our team MVP, Seriously.

Our best punter since Reggie Roby!

Re: Scud's Stud (Week 10 @ Miami)

Way too early in either of there careers to say one is a better player than the other for sure. Also we dont know what the coaches ask of each of them. Either way both are beasts and I am very happy to have two bookends for years and years to come!

NC Skins, on Hankerson you said it was about time? He is a rookie 3rd round receiver, he obviously needed/needs some polishing before he can make a huge impact. I would agree that it was about time we gave him a chance to show what he can do but you make it seem like he has been a disappointment somehow.

On the game yesterday, I had previously said that I was going to watch the rest of the season looking for improvement in our young players like Kerrigan Hankerson and Helu (amongst others) instead of just caring about wins like I normally would. From that standpoint yesterdays game was not that bad. They had 2 rookies have great games for them which helps give me some hope for the future!

Also I think Davis and Williams will not be suspended, just fined.

He was dead last on the WR depth chart several games into the season (even behind another rookie) and was inactive for several of those games as well. It is about time he showed up.

As horrible as the skins look right now, I see light at the end of the tunnel. I think the team will see a drastic improvement when Moss, Paul and Brown return healthy. The only thing that might derail things is if Trent Williams and Fred Davis get suspended.

As far as this season goes, that light you see at the end of the tunnel is probably a gorilla with a flashlight...

Re: Scud's Stud (Week 10 @ Miami)

Kerrigan for sure played a good game.

Hankerson had his best game ever.

Riley made some good plays - - I think he had 3 tackles for losses - - and got a lot of attention from color commentator, Tim Ryan, early on. However, in the second half I think he kind of disappeared a bit.

Someone said above that Sav Rocca is the team MVP so far. I don't think that is fair given the season-long performances of Kerrigan and/or Fletcher but it is indeed a sad situation where any fan might think that the punter was the team's MVP at any point in November.

Yup. Our cornerback situation is pretty bleak. We really don't have a good cover corner on this team. I wouldn't mention any corner in this thread this week.

Unless you want to give props to Barnes for nearly dropping a ball that was thrown right to him by Matt Moore...

Yep i didnt think Hank was going to contribute this season at all. Ill share a plate of crow with you.

Hankerson, Riley and Kerrigan were the only things that made this game fun to watch. I wonder why Riley hasnt played more up until this point? And Kerrigan played awesome agian, that defenselss receiver call was complete bs.
