I can see the Skins pulling out a close ugly one. 13-10.
They just blew out KC in KC. Plus they had the Giants on the ropes two weeks ago at NY. Record wise they're bad but right now they're a better team then we are...which isn't saying much.

I hope people don't get all overhyped if this happens. The only way I would get interested again is if we blow up the Dolphins, but that ain't happening.

It's going to be a battle of shit teams no doubt. Going back to last year they are 1-10 at home so that's the only reason I'm taking the Skins.

Doesn't Miami play well on the road though?

I'm with you Lotus. However a DVR is MANDATORY for watching this team. If I had to bear all the commercials etc. I'd likely shoot myself.

How's this for psychotic? I drove 5 hours to see Skins-Bills and we all know how that went. This weekend I'm flying 3 hours to see possibly the worst football game in NFL history. I think I need to get a life...

You mean this guy?

Matt Moore: Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore named AFC Offensive Player of the Week - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com

Nah...we're much better off with Beck

I'm like Lotus, I want to watch every play & get pissed if I miss some. Even in 2003, as brutal as that was, I still had to watch. Even bad teams have a few good games that make it fun, e.g. the dallas game in 06 when ST returned the blocked field goal to set up the game winner. Great game, terrible season.

we also have new faces to root for & hopefully see our future, Helu, Hankerson, Hurt, Kerrigan. Maybe we'll add Crompton to that list by years end?!

The Skins/Dolphins game will not be "a game for the ages" by any stretch of the imagination, but you do need to check the NFL schedule for this weekend. There are some BAD games on the list:

Indy/Jax
Denver/KC
St. Louis/Cleveland

Back in the day before Sunday Ticket, web sites, etc., it was almost impossible to follow the Skins if you lived outside of the DMV area. You may have gotten a few measly highlights and a paragraph story in the Monday paper.

I still remember those dark days so I am grateful to have the access that I have now and I don't want to take that access for granted.

And you are right - even in the worst seasons there are a few fun games or at least fun plays in bad games.
