It is. I agree with you 100%. I was never a portis fan here, i appreciated what he could do when he was healthy, but it was his attitude and work ethich that made me dislike him. That being said i honestly figured that someone would pick him up just for depth, but I am shocked that he is completley done.

I thought all along that the best thing he should do was retire, BUT, I also thought like every other high-mileage player, he would try a comeback. When my buddy that is a realtor told me that CP was 280 pounds at one point during the summer, i knew then that he was finished. And that really is sad.

I knew once he got cut that we'd try and get him. I don't mind it actually and I don't see why everyone else is up in arms. I'm sure he's a full on Cowboy hater now anyways.
