Found the answer to my question--the Vikings traded not two but three first rounders. Funny that the trade itself has its on Wiki entry.

I wish the Skins had picked him up. He will do much better now that he's away from the worst coach at any level of football.

Lets not go to far. We have no idea what the conditional pick is in 2013 and I'd bet they never see that draft pick. So they probably gave up a 1st for Palmer. After watching Rex this past Sunday that sounds like a pretty good deal. There is a reason Palmer wanted out.

The conditional pick is at minimum a 2nd in 2013.

Someone mentioned the possibility of JC back in Wash. That would be somethin, but I don't see it happening. If it did, Shanny could at least say he got a 4th & then was still able to sign him again.
