Well, ya gotta wonder if the visa issue cropped up and Philly knew it would be trouble, so they didn't re-sign him. Odd that he worked for years over here and now he can't get a visa.

Of course Shanahan was just joking because Rocca is a married man with two young sons. You can't blame Shanahan for pulling out all the stops though. Given the current state of the teams offense, a punter could be the team's most valuable player. There are currently three other Australian punters in the NFL. Ben Graham, Cardinals, Mat McBriar, Cowboys and Chris Bryan, NY Jets. Wonder if their visa status/s are less complicated.....do they (if married) have Australian or American wives?

I think McBriar's is probably less complicated. He's lived in the US since he came here with his parents before he went to college at Hawaii. He's probably been here long enough that he doesn't need one anymore. Plus I think he met his wife at Hawaii, so odds are she's a US resident so he doesn't need one.
Rocca is different, since he lived in Australia until he got a job playing for the Eagles 4 years ago.

Looking at that clip...it's amazing how we put Yoder into motion to the right and he ended up being quadruple-covered as Hunter rolled to that side. No wonder Sellers was so wide open on the opposite side. The Broncos bit it like a carrot.
What a threat Yoder was.
