I think MV missed a good part of a season with a broken foot in 2003 but other then that he has started every game except this year.

Re: What's up with all this Mike Vick talk?

Vick has played better than Philly themselves expected of him, but I think people want to be careful before they anoint him Philly's franchise QB. The offense fits him like a glove and he looks very, very comfortable.

On the downside, he's still one of the most frequently sacked players in NFL history and that no-turnovers rate is certain to regress starting next week vs. us.

If there's any one area he's improved since his days as a Falcon, it's probably his running. He used to run for a lot of yards and big plays in the past, usually leaving passing opportunities on the table. This year he's running with a purpose and using his legs when the options downfield are less than ideal (i.e. not open), and he's extending drives with his legs which makes him a lot more difficult to defend.

This is also as accurate as I've ever seen him, which is obviously a bonus for Philly.

Whatever happens, in this league of serious lacking of starting QB talent, Vick is going to get paid, big time. Whoever signs him will be taking a risk.

Yeah, VIck has returned to his old form causing havoc. Theres no way the Eagles would want to seperate Vick/Desean Jackson. Thats a dynamic teams wish for. They struck gold.

Before anything else we need to find a Center, RT, and look at our Guard situation before we invest heavily in a QB.

I'll say this, I am a Vick fan 'ON THE FIELD' and I would welcome him as a Skin but the cost would be too high. We took the wrong Philly QB and we have to live with it for the rest of this season. Theres no long term plan with DM.

Joe Theisman had a note hanging in his locker, "You dont have to be the reason the team wins just dont be the reason why the team loses" I think if we revamp the OL and get some WR weapons and figure out a RB that will be upright all year and play the scheme which fits our personnel we can get back to winning and playing Skins football. Im eager to see the changes that will be made knowing what we know after a year under the Shannies. The NFC East is up for grabs if the SKINS would get it together.

I was a bit off. There were 3 seasons where he played in every game.

Per Peter King:

. Terrific nugget from Sunday morning's "NFL Matchup'' show: When Michael Vick was sandwiched five weeks ago and suffered a rib injury against Washington, a review of the coaches video found Vick should never have taken off to run. He had a crosser, from right to left, totally uncovered in the middle of the field and just never saw him. Great example of how Vick still doesn't see the whole field when he goes back to throw. For him to have a long career, he has to learn to scan the field better so he doesn't endure the kind of hits a quarterback is bound to receive if he takes off six or eight times a game, every week.

And ate garbage for the deal they gave Kolb right as the season started.

Not sure what Boomer and Keyshawn said, but they could have been responding to what Clayton "boldly predicted" last week. Keep in mind, this is just Clayton speculating. He's not sharing any rumor or anything like that

Look for Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan to make a play for Michael Vick in 2011 - ESPN

Schefter's take on things is much more reasonable and level headed over these bold predictions.

I have to believe that even if the Eagles franchise Vick, another team will match and exceed that offer to pry Vick away. I think Vick or Kolb is definitely gone next year.

Re: What's up with all this Mike Vick talk?

Maybe they can off-load Kolb on a QB-desperate team like Seattle, Arizona or Carolina. They'll still take a bath financially though after giving him, what was it, $11 million this year?
