Re: China Jersey

I want a Haynesworth jersey so I can set it on fire in the parking lot and throw it's ashes on the hood of his Bentley.

Re: China Jersey

I agree GMScud.. As long as there is " Fake " jerseys, I will continue to buy them.. $300 for a jersey? No thanks. I did that with Champ Bailey and that same season was his last.. Learned my lesson

Re: China Jersey

what's up with all the haters on the fake jerseys .. "the numbers are too small" .. give me a break, they all look great and are 95% as good as any jersey in the store ... for all those people who want to go out and buy $300 jerseys by all means go right ahead .. i'll be on the other side with my $40 purchase which looks just like yours.

Re: China Jersey

I'm not a "hater" but I am picky when it comes to accuracy. I don't like when parts of the jersey are done completely wrong.

That said, the knockoffs on some of these sites look good enough to me. But, some of those sites sell crap like this:

Chicago Bears 23 Devin Hester White Jerseys jerseys,nfl jerseys,cheap nfl jerseys,discount nfl jerseys,mitchell ness jerseys,nhl jerseys,mlb jerseys,nba jerseys

Exactly what we're talking about Buster.

Look guys, there are some good fakes out there, nobody's hating, but there are some embarrassingly bad ones out there too.

Re: China Jersey

Anyone know where to get a real embroidered nameplate made? I've got a Reebok JC17 stitched jersey that I wouldn't mind converting to a Williams

Most nameplates can be removed with a seam ripper.

You can try a place that makes team uniforms like Teamwork Athletic or Youth Sports Market or A2Z Sports Apparel Team Uniforms Sporting Goods Equipment or All Sports Jerseys - Custom Sports Jerseys for all sports including Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, Athletic Knit Jerseys, and Volleyball Jerseys.

If they don't have it available, you could probably purchase some tackle twill (shiny jersey material) and see if a local printing/uniform place can do the lettering. If it's screen-printed, it will be much easier to find someone to do it locally.

Yeah, it's a stitched nameplate, so screening is going to look ass (IMO). I just hoped someone had a good connection already for doing this sort of thing. Apparently the NFL cracked down on it a while back as far as their "official" suppliers go, so it's sort of a "ask a vendor you have a good relationship with if they can go look in the back" kind of a thing.

I guess the NFL didn't like fans who paid hundreds of dollars for authentic jerseys spending another $20 to update them, when they could be making another couple hundred bucks to sell them an entirely new jersey :P

Re: China Jersey

i think it's more frustration just thinking about how insane NFL jerseys are price wise ...

Re: China Jersey

I'd rather pay some extra $$ and get a quality looking jersey than walk around in a half assed fake. And when it comes down to it, nothing wrong with a replica jersey in my book. Those are the most comfortable ones anyway.

I've got a replica Sean Taylor that I like a lot, but I paid almost 2.5x as much for that as I did for my $26 "fake" authentic Orakpo, and that was back in 2005. This afternoon I compared it to my friend's Pennington authentic (purchased from NFL.com a few years back for about $270- he's a Jets fan). Awfully hard to tell a difference, certainly not a $244 difference.

I now officially LOL at the thought of paying nearly $300 for a jersey. Silly.

Re: China Jersey

^ i've never had a problem with " chinese jerseys" Ive probably bought 10 in my time. I learned my lesson once on a $300 authentic champ Bailey jersey. I wore it maybe 3 times and he was traded. I like the replicas also but I'm not a big fan of screenprint, it washes off to quick

I hear ya. I mean, the only time I wear a jersey is during fantasy football drafts and on gamedays (and even then not always, because I have lots of cool Skins t-shirts as well). IMO it just doesn't make sense to spend that kind of money on something that gets such infrequent use. But to each his own.

I've got a fantasy draft at 9 tonight. I'm gonna take the new "fauxthentic" for it's first test drive. LOL. If it falls apart I'll come on here and let everyone know.
