Re: Redskins Off-season Review
I notice that no one has mentioned the secondary. As alluded to by moi in another thread, that was problem area last year.
Have there been any signings that I've missed among the defensive backs? Admittedly, I haven't been paying much attention this offseason. |

Re: Redskins Off-season Review
Phillip Buchanon was added to replace Smoot as the nickel, and we recently claimed Ramzee Robinson off waivers.

Re: Redskins Off-season Review
If Trent Williams, Selvish Capers, and Eric Cook all turn out well ... that would be nothing short of miraculous.
But you're right...with all due deference to Eric Cook -- Best Offseason Move = Acquiring Trent Williams + Jammal Brown + Selvish Capers + Eric Cook

Re: Redskins Off-season Review
guessing that the move is a cumulation of all 4 players and not 4 separate moves

Re: Redskins Off-season Review
Long term, firing Vinny was a big move because it changes the way the Skins evaluate and choose players. The McNabb signing is the biggest in the short term as the Skins went from having no QB to having a bonafide all pro QB with a few good years left in his tank.

Re: Redskins Off-season Review
No...no way, let them cry. OL of the future is a very exclusive club and Eric Cook just squeaked in due to your endorsement.

Re: Redskins Off-season Review
I remain "medium" (color me zorny). But it still makes for a nicer day to read positive spin rather than the doom-and-gloom articles of recent years.
