He may, one day, be a suitable short term starter as a number 2. He's no great shakes, he just a guy who may develop. Pretty much the same as Colt. I will send each one of you $100.00 on the day either Colt or Chase lead a team through 16 games and takes them to the playoffs.

Re: Colt Brennan goes on IR
I'm a little mystified why we did not put him on the PUP list instead.

Re: Colt Brennan goes on IR
Just FYI...
Chase Daniel is no lock to be a Redskin... The team is cutting him & keeping only 2 QBs on the 53 man roster. If he clears waivers, then practice squad... but someone may just take a flier on him... Brennan to IR, Daniel Cut

Maybe there are other plans in the making, but starting the season with just two QB's seems a little odd. |

Re: Colt Brennan goes on IR
Because we are going to keep Daryl Young, we need the roster space.

Re: Colt Brennan goes on IR
Yeah those 7 sacks had nothing to do with it. Balt 2nd string OWNED our 2nd string and NE had their starters in when he played..again with our 2nd string. Chase ran for his life in the last game as well with the same results.

Re: Colt Brennan goes on IR
Which is kinda the point, the two are pretty much interchangeable except that, to my recollection, Chase didn't make as many glaringly bad decisions as Colt did.

Re: Colt Brennan goes on IR
If Daniel is cut and the Redskins are looking elsewhere, could they make a trade and bring in Thigpen or Tarvaris Jackson? Just a thought.
