I remember reading that Jerry Gray and the secondary coaches were very happy with the way he progressed throughout the season. Apparently he's one of the fastest guys on the team, but raw. If he continues to learn and be coachable, I think he can be a serviceable backup for us.

I can't say anything bad about SS. Lot's of nfl players work out on their own. These OTA's are voluntary. There will be lot's of time spent during camp to make up for that. You know SS is taking care of himself and working out. He's a top corner when healthy, plays hurt, plays hard and that's all you can ask of him.
He's probably a bit miffed w/ the skins for asking him to take a paycut last year but i'm sure he knows that's part of the business. I still think this is much ado about nothing. |
