What if Colt Brennan falls to the middle late rounds?

Colt is the Next Tom Brady. Plain and simple. Too small, too slow, too arrogant, blah, blah, blah. Whatever.

The guy has had achievements through adversity. I firmly believe that he is going to end up being the best QB in this years draft when it is all said and done. He makes plays and he has a heart. That is all you need.

Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan just wrapped up what will likely be the longest interview session of the combine. Brennan spent most of his 45 minutes talking about his 2004 arrest for burglary and trespassing at the University of Colorado. In case you've never heard the story, a drunken Brennan walked into a female student's dorm room uninvited, and was later sentenced to seven days in jail and four years probation.

Brennan is also answering a lot of questions about his relative lack of size and strange arm motion. He said the time he spent salvaging his college career after the 2004 incident has prepared him for the scrutiny he's now facing.

"To here the criticism, it almost puts me at ease," he said. "What I went through was a great learning ground for what the NFL will be like. The situation is a positive now."

But if Brennan handles his team interviews like he handled the media today, I think he'll have some problems. He talked about turning his crime into a positive, but then he kept dwelling on the fact that he was treated unfairly after being convicted. Teams don't want to hear a bunch of whining.

and colt had a whole 1.5 seconds before he had to get rid the football. Hawaii got dominated, but most of the domination was done by Georgia's d-line on Hawaii's o-line. at least Colt showed that he could take a hard hit and get back up

CB was the only reason they got to play in that game. No matter what side you're on in this debate, judging the kid on that one and only game is just silly. His O line got him killed, with.01 seconds to get rid of the ball. Kid's tough, I say sure.(late rounds)

I was just responding to the guy that said brady was taller and bigger. Have you ever seen the pic of him in the combine, he probobly weighed 170 lbs, with zero muscle tone. Given he got bigger, so can colt

No to Brennan!!!! At the QB position you have to look at who he played for and the opposition he had over his career. Hawaii is in the most pathetic Div 1A division out there. Even the MAC is a lot better than their conference. As for his records, if a decent HS QB played against a bunch of junior high kids he would have ungodly numbers also. I know that is an exaggeration, but look at what happened in the bowl game. Hawaii was schooled and shown that they didn't belong in the BCS. Brennan was wasted. Think the kid is going to do any better in the Biggest league of them all? This is a weak year for QB's in my opinion. I even think the kid from Missouri is overrated. Only decent QB's are Dixon and the guy from BC, and even he would be a big gamble.If we do draft a QB( I think we need to) we need to go under the radar and pick a kid from a smaller school.(like Gus from Tulsa)
