Maybe Snyder was confused by Goodell's edict about announcements and thought he had to wait until after the Super Bowl AND the Pro Bowl so as not to draw attention to the festivities.

Right. With the exception of Cowher and Carroll, I believe the rest of those guys would jump at the chance to be a head coach no matter the situation. I know that most head coaches want to surround themselves by staff that they appoint (and who's to say this hasn't already happened with Fassel,) but I just think it's an easy situation to be in. The staff is already there in place. No need to "round up" other coaches. I guess in the techie sense, it's "plug and play". Let's hope it works out!

Hey ... here's a solution to you guys bashing the hire...

Bring in Mariucci as OC... he can show Zorn the ropes... they both know the West Coast Offense... from Walsh/Holmgren...
