and is really that important to you that he plays in the probowl, god forebid, someone decide they don't want to participate in a meaningless game.

Just wait for the 08 season to start and he goes on another streak, everyone will be on his jock again. One thing I've learned about many so called sports fans today, "When you're winning they're humping you, when you lose they dump you.

Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl

Why is everyone so down on Brady? I get the Bellichick stuff, but Brady seems like a pretty decent guy. He's never (to my knowledge) called out his linemen like Peyton Manning after a crushing upset loss, or publically criticized his front office for failing to get him adequate weapons like Favre and McNabb. He's consistently been at his best when the pressure is turned up (which includes the Superbowl, where he was stuck with an incoherent offensive strategy and no help from his offensive line, yet never lost his composure and actually gave his team a lead his defense should have protected). He was a sixth round draft pick who excelled threw mental excellence, nerves of steel, and hard work.

When does he ever whine about anything? You want to see a whiner, go read about Joe Montana.

And the supposedly best receiver of all time (Jerry "the whiner" Rice) I've seen it here. Brady is not a bad guy and is from San Mateo, CA. kind of like Bethesda to Rockville over there. Here's a little dirt on Jerry from back in '98 PAGE ONE -- Police Close Spa -- Find Jerry Rice / 49ers star denies wrongdoing

He wishes he had 1/2 the class of Monk.

I suggest watching the post-game comments by Brady, Bruschi, et al on nfl.com/videos (search by team). I must admit, the Pats players came off like good sportsmen. Brady and Bruschi looked like they were getting pretty choked up, even if they didn't cry.

Joe had to play. He couldn't go home after getting caught by his wife in bed with Cathy Lee Crosby during SB week.

It's probably going to take them a long time to get over a loss like that. They had so much riding on it. Brady was saying before the game that is was the biggest game of their lives. And to lose when they had it right in their fingers. I actually felt bad for Brady and Bruschi.

Who cares if he doesn't go. I'm not trying to make excuses for him, but maybe his ankle flared up after the game and he wanted to rest. It's not like he has any games of meaning until September. Get off his case. He's still better than any quarterback we've had in recent years. I hate to say that, but it's true.

Exactly. He's hurt and even if he wasn't, it is pretty typical for guys to bow out of the Pro Bowl, especially when they have already been a number of times. I'm no Pats fan, but if we just hate on them for every little thing then it loses its meaning when we actually have something legitimate to complain about.

This video, to me, emboides the essence of Tom Brady off the field. A regular run-of-the-mill guy who doesn't take anything to seriously, well until he gets on the field.

It's not a big deal and maybe I'd want to skip the Pro Bowl if I lost the Super Bowl, but it's still fun to rag on Brady.
Hahaha!! Hilarious! Brady is just acting like a puss cuz he lost.
