Re: BioShock
lol omg. that's my new favorite smiley. I didn't even know that existed!
I finally started the game... For 2 minutes. As soon as I got into that building you head into after the plane crash, and the old timey music came on I called it quits. Its 3am and I'm not uber girlygirl, but I'm girly enough to be scared sh*tless about what lurks around every corner. Haha I'll have to play this game tomorrow when I get home from class... And there's daylight.

Re: BioShock
Today I made it to the medical pavillion! lol
And now that its nightfall, I gotta quit I guess I'll have to Madden it up for the rest of the night. The game is interesting. Love the storyline so far. Creepy as hell though. Splicers are shooting me and I can't figure out where they're shooting me from (can you tell I don't play shooters much?). My current goal is to get the access key from Dr. Steinbach or whatever his name is. I haven't died yet though, but I can tell that time is quickly approaching. I haven't set up an Xbox Live account yet, but is this game playable online? I wouldn't think it is due to the storyline and such. But it'd be awesome if you could tagteam the baddies and such. And has anyone actually faced the Big Daddies yet? Are they easy or hard? And what has anyone done about the Little Sisters? Save them or harvest them? I'm a girl so its kinda hard to just kill off some little kid, and a girl no less. lol but i hear it's less effective to save them.

Re: BioShock
Shoot up the baddies?
I mean I don't wanna regurgiate the storyline to you, you can look that up on IGN. But as far as I can get out of it, the most basic explanation would be: a shooter with RPG elements to it. Like you can shoot lightining bolts from your left hand, and wield weapons with your right. I mean if you're into WWII type shooters, then you'll probably hate this. If you liked Oblivion, you'll probably love this. (minus the medievil aspect)

Re: BioShock
O.o Oblivion was probably one of the, if not the best games for the 360 prior to the release of BioShock.
It was praised for it looking so good and being open ended, in the fact you could follow the storyline if you wanted or do other things like the side quests or roam around and break into houses, battle in the arena, almost anything you wanted outside of beating up hoes. Go GTA!

Quote:
u play a guy who @ the beginning of the game is aboard a plane that crashes in the middle of the ocean and the only thing nearby is a lighthouse with a submersible sub in it. So of course he goes down and through the combination of weapons and magical abilities implanted into your genes, you go about trying to find a way home as well as helping some of the locals from the completely insane inhabitants who have done a little bit too much modifying to themselves. and while putting the pieces together, u encounter severely f-ed up enemies from genetic splicers who can climb on the ceiling, splicers who can teleport, and walking tanks known as Big Daddies who have weapons ranging from grenade launchers, shotguns, giant drills, and more. also mixed in r these recordings of some inhabitants whom u'll meet up with that range from funny to down right creepy as hell that helps further enrich the story and atmosphere. watch some vids of it on xbox live or ign.

Re: BioShock
The new Forza Motorsports is good, if you liked SOCOM, pick up Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, Overlord is a great weird game, Guitar Hero II, Fifa (if you're into soccer...)

Re: BioShock
Also, Fight Night Round 3 is a platinum hit now, so you can pick it up for $30. Dead Rising and Crackdown are great games too.
