Re: Welcome to the NFL Adrian Peterson
This kid is just incredible. He's blowing by defensive backs in the secondary like they're walking backwards, yet he's so incredibly strong at the same time. The guy looks like solid muscle.
Very well looking at history in the making with this kid. The record holders had better beware.

AP is the new face of the NFL and rightly so...what a monster.

Re: Welcome to the NFL Adrian Peterson
I'm scared that while in terms of ability when healthy he could hypothetically be one of the 5 best running backs of all time, the fact remains that running backs have a hard enough time staying healthy and given his medical history I just don't know how long he stay on his feet.

Re: Welcome to the NFL Adrian Peterson
I'm surprised nobody's explored the thought that we could have taken this kid. Based on what we've seen, who's the better pick, LL or AP? Taking AP and offloading Betts or Portis could have had all kinds of interesting outcomes. That said, I think LL is a friggin beast. He's one of the reasons I think our d could return to elite status as he moves up the learning curve.

Re: Welcome to the NFL Adrian Peterson
So is Peterson going to be the #1 pick in all fantasy drafts next year? Has he surpassed Tomlinson now?

Re: Welcome to the NFL Adrian Peterson
I heard a fantasy expert on ESPN say that he would be the #1 overall on his big board next year as long as nothing happened with his health.

He is like L.J. only quicker. They don't look to run out but lower their heads and punish you if you decide to tackel. They both remind me of of the Walter Payton. McFadden is the other one I think fans would like to see him wearing their team's jersey. Damn you Cleveland! |
