I just want to be the drunk guy with the beer helmet , the painted beer gut, and a broken foam finger.

Re: 12ths Top 5 Warpathers
That's just too much....I guess this means no trips to Philly for me
Does that make 5Rings Crazy Ray (RIP), and we have to "fight" everytime we see each other?

Re: 12ths Top 5 Warpathers
Considering that theme was my ringtone for about a year, I'm all for it.

Re: 12ths Top 5 Warpathers
LOL This thread is great.
If Hess is the owner, I am so fired. On a semi-serious note, I want to be the guy who tells it like it is. But if I'm intimidating, that's not what I want because that squashes discussion. I'll try to cool it on the harshness. Because while I want to call it how I see it, I want everyone else to call it how they see it too. After all, this place rules. OK that was way too serious for this thread. CrazyCanuck is definitely Eric Shaffer. And as for the perfect match? TMC is definitely Joe Bugel. A grizzled old vet who carries around a cane with a mirror on the bottom of it (for looking up the skirts of schoolgirls). Seriously, if Bugel doesn't look like a dirty old man, I don't know who does.

Re: 12ths Top 5 Warpathers
There's an older guy at my work who looks a little bit like Buges and he's a BIG fan of dirty jokes, etc. He uses the phrase "...drop my pants," at least once a week.

Re: 12ths Top 5 Warpathers
I'm thinking of resigning my Karl Swanson role so that Skinsguy, BrudLee, and I can play the Joey T, B-Mitch, Riggo roles of the "back in my day" guys

I nominate Kidwell, Porterhouse, WeWhite, and DenimMonger to be the WP version of the Funky Four.

Re: 12ths Top 5 Warpathers
12thMan: "...Now that Warpath is on the map, newbies tend to show up and want star type salary and treatment. They tend to show up to clutter our site, but it seems we do a damn good job of either scaring the hell out of them or we let them know everyone plays for vet minimum around here!"
Good post 12thMan. Having been a long time stalker of the Warpath, and certainly qualifying as a "newbie," I was reluctant to take the leap and actually, you know, speak or respond to posts. However, I'll never profess to be as crazy knowlegeable of team stats, legal contracts, etc., etc. as many of you here. I'm just a lowly fan that may occasionally offer an opinion and one that hopefully will not "clutter" the site. It amazes me how mant stats come across this board. Do you all not have a life? (jk) |
