Re: SI's 10 Most Feared Players
I hate to bring up other players but what about Shawn 'Lights Out' Merriman or B. Urlacher? What the hell.

Re: SI's 10 Most Feared Players
You're right about Merriman (my second favorite UMD player over the last few years). He could have ended Holmes' career with a hit last season.

Re: SI's 10 Most Feared Players
Man C'mon I totally agree of Taylor not being in that list and putting Boldin, A ST and a Center as most feared C'mon and kreutz (center) is the second most feared player give me a break
I also don't agree on Roy Being rank so low specially under boldin Cmon I know your going to say trash about him but where not talking coverage we're talking feared and wr don't like to go in the middle against roy. Yes some are going to say about the horse collar being the reason wr fear him but get real before last year when the hole Horse Collar thing came up you never said nothing about that and again we don't talk way of tackle we talk about hits and he puts some of the best hits in the league as those S. Taylor. if you can be professional and don't be all media "knowledgeable" see the video it's old but I just love the editing. YouTube - roy williams dallas cowboys highlight video |

Re: SI's 10 Most Feared Players
people here bitched about the craptacular way in which roy insists on tackling and the injuries it causes before the rule came out.

Re: SI's 10 Most Feared Players
Man that rule came out because he broke TO leg and you know the NFL loves to hate TO because he sell tickets and gives highlights but if TO wouldn't had gotten hurt the rule would have ever been suggested.
Other players got hurt by it like C. Taylor of Baltimore I don't disapprove the rule but it's more likely to cause injury then other type of tackles and NO R. W didn't use the horse collar last year he used a variation that was within the NFL Rules. If anyone is going to bring the portis tackle of last year. And anyway even if they don't like how he sometimes tackles we're discus sin feared. |

I agree. Honestly, if I didn't know Roy aside from this video, I would think he wasn't shit.

Re: SI's 10 Most Feared Players
Still though, you cannot deny that he tries to horse collar with basically EVERY tackle.

We all know the NFL created a spot in the probowl for ST because of him but after he retired I haven't seen many if any ST players of coverage going to the pro bowl usually return man go to the probowl as the ST player. But it's not only that who know that guy. |
