Wouldn't that be just a fan ?

No, it's called being irrational. I'm a firm believer in the "Any Given Sunday" mantra that is passed around the NFL, but last year could a 49ers fan SERIOUSLY say their team was better than anyone except maybe the Texans?

I'm not sure if you're kidding or not, but there's my answer.

But wouldn't it be irrational to be a 49ers fan, if you were to try to apply logic to it ?

It's an interesting issue actually. Can you be a rational fanatic? Almost oxymoronic, since fanaticism is defined as "excessive, irrational zeal."

Oh crap, now I sound like Huddle. Forget it. You're both right.

Yeah, it's too deep to get into. Maybe to some, posting on the internet discussing or reading about the redskins is a bit too much and irrational (in terms of a waste of one's time).

(GASP!) There are those who would think such a thing? How dare they!

Yup, there are people like that - but you can feel free to bash them here if you want because obviously they wouldn't be here reading it.

Excellent point.
To all you non-Warpathers out there: You Suck!

Hmmm, in hindsight it's just not as fun as arguing with Giantone or D'BOYZ.

Yeah, it doesn't feel the same. Okay just save it until they log back on.

But I agree, it's fun to argue with them - especially with homefield advantage. I have to give them some respect though because they have some cajones to just log into this site and start a discussion.

He can still be plenty intimidating on the field and make good decisions off of it. I think it will just take some time, he's still just what, 24 years old?
So what if it was some regular Joe who did this? About 90% of people would be calling for this guy's head to be on a flaming pike. The only difference is he plays for the Redskins and is a millionaire.....

Well said!

On a more serious note, I agree with the general consensus here that he seems to be a pretty good guy. I had never seen him interviewed before until the Redskins.com video, and he really came across as a nice, laid-back, intelligent guy.

Hell, those ATVs can get expensive, maybe he had a good reason...

If some "regular Joe" waved a gun around at some punks that he thought stole his property, I really wouldn't have a huge problem with it. The best way to resolve the situation? Maybe not...but it's not like he started shootin'.

I guess I just fall in the 10% maybe...

It's going to be one of those things where only Sean and the thugs knows what happened. Regardless of guilt, Sean will learn with time to just not put himself in those situations.

If some regular Joe did it - I honestly wouldn't be interested in the story. It probably would have gotten less than 10 seconds of airtime on a local news station.
