yea he is overrated, and so is the eagles team like you said. everyone seems to still love the eagles for some reason

At least, he's relatively young.

Save our money and build through the draft. Only sign him if he is a potential starter.

There's no one on the roster (or rookie) with more NFL starting experience than Adams. I know we don't like ex-NFC rivals' players but, it's really all about the money for most of them. That's why it's always good to hear how great it is to be a Redskin.

Vikings | F. Smoot bulks up; ready for a big year
Mon, 10 Apr 2006 05:53:38 -0700

Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings CB Fred Smoot has bulked up and he's ready to put the 2005 season behind him and start the 2006 season fresh. Smoot, whose listed weight last season was 178 pounds, currently weighs 200, but he said his playing weight might be 195. "I feel like a free agent again," said Smoot, one of the players who starred during the team's three-day minicamp that concluded Sunday, April 9. "I'm feeling good about the coaches. For the first time in two years, I feel like I'm being coached. They're well organized, and every time we hit the field, we're getting something done. I got the love that came from coach (Joe) Gibbs, Gregg Williams and Marvin Lewis." Smoot wants to show Vikings fans what he's all about. "I want to prove to Minnesota that I am the best defensive back they probably have ever seen," he said.

Re: Redskins | K. Adams visited team

I guess it's good to see Smoot start over again. That seems like a common theme in that organization this year. Also, D,Qwell Jackson is projected as the top inside linebacker in the draft so him still being available at 53 is highly unlikely.

I just want to see Moss burn Smoot en route to a Skins TD.

Re: Redskins | K. Adams visited team

after losing his starting job & w/a new owner, coach, I was hoping to see smoot on the wavier wire, but I'm sure the cap hit would be huge for them. still hate it that he's not a skin

There is no way the Vikings would let Moss line up on Smoot. Ike Hilliard (and a dozen other number two receivers) used to and still do abuse Smoot.
