I think I heard a stat the other day during the Buc's game that we have won all our games this year win we have lost the coin toss. I may be incorrect on all season it maybe our 6 games winning streak.

Re: Seattle Kicker Brown Talks Trash About the 'Skins

why is it that I keep hearing players and the media say Simms had a pretty good game against us? Last time I checked, throwing the ball 38 times for only 198 yards and 2 ints was actually a pretty bad game. Maybe it's cuz it was his first name or maybe it was because of the opposing qb Brunell's rather sad stats, I don't know. And how much would anyone here wanna bet if it had been a big name cornerback like Bailey, Law, or Barber, who made the play Rodgers made to hit Shepards elbow and the ball to keep Shepard from getting a firm hold on the ball would have gotten mad props? Even though it still would have been seen as a missed oppurtunity, there would also be more than one person in the media praising the effort. I think this team is used to not getting respect and that's what has helped make the defense as good as it has been. I think this game will be close but I also think the skins if they play to the level they are capable of as a whole team, it could turn into a blowout.

I, too, think this game could be a blowout. We're gonna shut down Alexander, and last time I checked, Our entire "banged up" secondary will be ready to go. Also, I seem to remember us beating the shit out of the last 4 NFC West teams we've played--including the Seahawks. We had a huge lead against the Seahawks last time we played them, then Gibbs underestimated their offense and played crazy conservative, until overtime where we dialed up a 30 yard pass to Moss and won. He will not let this game get to overtime.

What do you expect it is the only way a kicker can get his name in the paper. The Skins are finally coming to my side of the country in the playoffs, and we will be their to watch him eat his words.

You know, I think the players get all this information.

I heard one of the guys comment on Chris Carter dressing like one of the Hoggettes. And last night, Shawn Springs said something like we're just a bunch of "Average Joes".....ala Len Pastabelly, and how ESPN wasn't giving them any chance.

So, it wouldn't suprise me if it we're already on the bulletin board somewhere.

Maybe somebody should start calling the Sports Junkies and/or Elliot in the Morning with this, see if they can get some of the Skins turned on to this...

I suggest the Skins send a "headhunting blocker" down the field on every kick return and find #3 to make sure he doesn't get a tackle...just in case of course.

Bravo! Good point. The Skins dared them to pass the whole game and left the middle of the field wide open on purpose. People act like that's the strategy we'll take this week. Plus since when did Matt Hasslebeck become Jone freaking Montana? I don't like making negative statements about opposing players(for karma reasons) but I think some are vastly over-rating this guy. He can be a good QB and have some nice games but lets not put this guy in the HoF just yet.

Re: Seattle Kicker Brown Talks Trash About the 'Skins

Josh Brown says, "History's played out great for us. We're going into a game where the way our guys have been playing for the last 13 weeks, we should have no problem."

**** This guy acts like he's a football player, but he's the stuff Sean Taylor scrapes off of his cleats after a game. This is billboard material coming from a true hack and they are pretty confident in Starbucks-land with their big spread, but the score is still 0-0 right now.

Re: Seattle Kicker Brown Talks Trash About the 'Skins

Did he really say all of this? Just wondering if someone can post a link.

All I found was this, from today's Seattle Post-Intelligencer:

"They've got a good offense, they've got a great defense," said Seattle kicker Josh Brown. "You think about the way Tampa Bay played the game, and the way Chris Simms threw the ball and you look at Matt Hasselbeck and you think of what he has been doing all year. It puts a good smile on your face to think about our offense against their defense."
