Re: Giants Pre-Game Thread
I like this idea. Maybe its not all about the pieces, it's the arrangement? https://www.hogshaven.com/2023/10/18...KZZQY8HI_ACMHg

Re: Giants Pre-Game Thread
Really need to win this game. It would help offset the Chicago loss and win a division game against a team having a rough year. Typically, Washington doesn't play well at NY. That needs to change Sunday. Barkley is a playmaker. Their new rookie receiver Hyatt is super fast.
Let's go Commanders! |

Re: Giants Pre-Game Thread
It all hangs on the D. If they can produce more like the Falcons game and much less like the Bills game then we can and should win this. The noise coming from the players themselves seems to suggest they learnt some things about themselves and as a team. Atlantic are a middle of the road team, but even saying that this was probably the best D performance all year. I'm cautiously optimistic, assuming they don't regress.

Re: Giants Pre-Game Thread

Re: Giants Pre-Game Thread
This is the most important game of the season to date so far. We were never going to beat the Eagles for best record, but we have to be able to beat the Giants to have any possibility of a decent season.

Re: Giants Pre-Game Thread
I think the biggest problem with the defense is the LB's. If we play a team that is one dimensional we are fine. We can go with the 5 man front and do a decent job of stopping the run. Problem with that is it opens the passing game up and poor QB's like Ridder can throw for over 300 yards against you. Luckily for the Commander he sucks and threw 3 poorly time interceptions. If we use extra DB's instead of extra lineman we have a chance to stop the pass, but then teams will run down our throat. AND there is the problem, we don't have the personal for a base defense that can defend the pass or the run, we have to load up to stop one which gives up the other. Rivera the GM really as to go!!!! (and the coach IMO)

Re: Giants Pre-Game Thread
Giants just lost another Olineman with torn biceps. Signed a practice squad player. This is now without a doubt the worst oline in football. Chase Young and Co better not get clowned.
