What the heck? Is that for real? The Nation of Islam is a black supremacist organization - why would he join it? And why take the name Celek-X, since presumably his ancestors were not trafficked as slaves?

Farrakhan has permitted caucasians to join the Nation of Islam. This is true.

I realize that. But that is not the point. The NoI ideology remains racially charged and because of this there are very few Caucasians who have taken Farrakhan up on the offer.

If you are Celek, why not join a more mainline version of Islam which doesn't have the history and ideology of the NoI?

I don't know if this has been posted, but kudos to (Carolilna's) Steve Smith:

Re: Around the NFL...Training Camp Style

Statement from Browns owner Randy Lerner

This reportedly could be a majority ownership transaction

I'd take Benson

So it will be a majority ownership transaction. And Holmgren might be out the door with Banner/Cowher coming in. We shall see

Damn! One of the NFL's truly terrible franchises might make a turn around.

I know the Browns are in a tough division with Pitt and Balt. But I'm still disappointed Holmgren couldn't turn things around. He did well in GB and Seattle.
