This is just pure bad luck with Garcon. Look towards the future!
I hope you are right, Garçon has had some history of injuries in the past. This toe injury seems pretty bad and I hope he gets back out there. Right now we are at 8 million per reception.....:vomit:

What NFL player doesn't have an injury history?

That said I don't see where Garcon missed any significant time during his time in Indy.

Re: Panthers v. Redskins Predictions

He has only played in al 16 games once in his career. Played in 14 games 4 times. Not injury prone per se, but seems to have something every year. This, by far, the worst he had

Pierre Garcon Stats - Washington Redskins - ESPN

That wasn't injury though. In 2008 and 2009, he wasn't a starter. And in 09 he DID have a hand injury that caused him to miss the last 2 games of the season.

In 2010 he was a starter but was inactive for 2 games.

In 2011 he did start.

Injury doesn't seem to be a problem with him.

Yep. He played but wasn't a starter.

Anyway Garcon will be good to go next season barring any setbacks.

I hope he gets this toe thing healed up and is ready to go next year. I would not be surprised him going IR post bye week. He can be an impact player and a big time weapon when healthy.

If you're hurt, you're hurt. Simple as that. Nothing you can do about it. If a game had playoff implications I'm sure Pierre would play and push himself. But unfortunately some injuries linger. I don't see Pierre being close to 100% anytime soon.

Didn't you call Helu a sissy for not being able to play through his injuries??

Damn, he picked the wrong time to get hurt...all. Morris needed was a shot and he looks like he has no intention of giving the job back.

I'm harder on Helu than on Garcon because Garcon has done more in the NFL.

Same here. Chances are a loss won't make me miserable (barring a blowout loss) but a win would have me feeling good. Now if they lose to the Ravens or the Giants, again...
