Re: Practice Squad Tracker

When are we going to get the full list? Last night on the news they said as early as noon today (Sun).

In any event here is another PS member:

TIght end Deangelo Peterson, who made a strong run for Rams 53-man roster, has been signed to Washington's practice squad.

Actually it has no real bearing on that. If they are considering bringing Cooley back after the first week as some have speculated, they would do so by carrying 4 TE's or cutting Paul or Paulson. None of them are eligible for the PS. Having a promising guy on the PS is good insurance, but it impacts the Cooley situation (if there is such a thing) very little.

Forget the fact that Cooley may very well latch on with another team at that time, so not making the insurance move would be silly.

The Skins then balked at claiming Slaton on waivers, and have reportedly expressed no interest in him since. Thus, it sounds like the Fins were behind all the trade talk. Either that, or the Redskins know something we don't about Slaton."

I'd suggest cutting Cedric Griffin...because he sucks
Maybe it's because he isn't any good?

So, is there an 8 man practice squad yet? I've seen some names but doesn't seem like we agreed with all 8 yet.

Thanks SS!

It is interesting that we have so many PSers who were in camp with other teams. We included relatively few folks from our own camp.

And the Crompton era is over.

Also, the following players are on IR now

Dorson Boyce (FB)
Tristan Davis (WR)
Darius Hanks (WR)
Lance Lewis (WR)
Chris Neild (DL)

So those could be some guys to watch out for next summer

Daryl Gamble was a name in college I had interest in us drafting a few years ago, we'll see what happens with him.

We've got some pretty good young LB's this year. I like White alot but his chances for playing time are probably better elsewhere.

A weekly PS paycheck, or a weekly league minimum paycheck...

He may not want to come back but something tells me that he would if offered.
