I normally hate when teams stray from their team colors for black for no real reason other than a fashion statement, but for a team called the Pirates, black just fits. (a lot better than purple too)

The Raiders should draft Bridgewater, but they probably won't.

The Jets will get Clowney.

Tuned into some of the ECU game during the "weather delay" in Denver. ECU's helmet logos look great but that midfield logo might be the best in college football. It looks awesome.

I really liked Florida Atlantic's uniforms too and the helmets with the numbers on one side.

ECU played great too.

Re: Official 2013 NCAA College Football Thread

Well we've got UVA playing Oregon. That should be 21-0 by the 11 minute mark in the first quarter for Oregon.

We've also got another great SEC game with Georgia and Gurley/Murry vs Clowney and SC.

Notre Dame plays Michigan, but what will be great to watch is OT Taylor Lewan vs. DE Stephon Tuitt (who is a Richard Seymour clone IMO).

Miami plays 12 Florida, as a Florida fan, I'm obligated to watch a little bit of it. The two coaches though are great CFB coaches in Al Golden and Will Muschamp.

OU plays WVU, so that game should be in the 50's. I'm excited to see this Trevor Knight QB for OU. He beat out Blake Bell the Tebow-esque looking QB for OU.

And a possible (very small but you never know) upset tonight could be San Jose State with David Fales (whom I think is a top 5 QB in this years draft class) vs #5 Stanford. Fales should keep San Jose State in this game, its a matter of if SJS's defense can stop Stanfords balanced Offense.

Did you see Jadeveon Clowney in South Carolina's opener against UNC? Was his performance a cause for concern? He was impressive, but he did look really tired; it seemed like on a few plays, he didn't give very much effort. Probably not a big deal.

Also, David Ash looked good in UT's opener; I hope he keeps it up tonight against BYU's defense. UT wins: 30-10. And, skinsfaninok, OU's time is up. No more of these huge blowouts against the 'Horns.

Clowney was sick. You could tell just by looking at him he looked sick. I think before the game all he had was a banana since he couldn't keep food down.

Texas needs a new coach. Like Andy Reid, his time has just run out. That is just my opinion though.

Watching Miami put up a win was fantastic. Been waiting for a big win for them for a long time.

Just a few notes from the game...

Easley looked better than Floyd who went in the first round last year.
Perryman as a potential replacement for Fletcher? Undersized but smart. Gotta love the U

Perryman better fit maybe outside lb in a 4-3 more of a lance Briggs type. But he is amazing. People need to start paying attention to him.

Florida was out coached pretty bad today and their qb, the once top qb recruit, showed extremely poor today

Miami 77 (all in first 3 quarters!)
Savannah State 7

Next victim, South Florida (0-3 and just git stomped by Alfred's school, Florida Atlantic)

If UT's defense continues to play like they did against BYU, Mack Brown's days might be numbered. Hopefully, the new defensive coordinator will help.

Y! SPORTS

Got to respect Jim Mora for putting this "tv technician" in his place. I have no idea why any moron would answer his phone at a press conference. If it's that important, they should step outside.

Rumor around college football is that Texas may go after Nick Saban.
