I can see him coming back as a back-up to McNabb. Shanny already said that he would be open to that. I don't think its going to hurt Shanny's feeling any if Jason is the back-up. It depends on whether Campbell can swallow going from starter to back-up. With all he's already been through and how he's handled it, he might... But then again I'd be pretty pissed if I got shafted like that.

Tebow would be perfect for Pittsburgh especially now that they want to get back to the ground game.

Rams.

They would be stupid to pass up on him especially since they need a QB, and this might be the HC's last yr if he doesn't do a lot better then last yr.

So wouldn't he want a QB who will be there for more than 10 games?

Lets say we didn't have McNabb would this had been a better trade for us? BR for our 4th pick?

Lets see. 4th overall for an "alleged" rapist or 37th overall for McNabb. Hmmmmmmm? Let me get back to you on that.

In the meantime if I'm the Steelers I'm finding some way to bring in Tebow. Weather it be acquiring the 8th overall pick and trying to trade down or using my second round pick to trade back up into the first round. Tebow is such a great fit for Pittsburgh without Ben it's ridiculous. Lots of Shotgun, simple reads, and an emphasis on the running game.

No way I want this animal in B & G.

From a strictly performance stand-point, who do you think you get, the 2006 & 2008 guy or the 2007 & 2009 guy? Do you get the guy who led the league in INTs (2006) or sacks (2009), or do you get the guy who drives your team down the field late in the 4th Qtr to win a SB? With his suspension and baggage is it worth it? IMO, no way.

Remember the saying, "You don't change a leopard's spots." There may be more issues that haven't come out yet. And if this guy hasn't learned after the motorcycle crash and the Vegas incident, he's a hard-head who won't learn from his most recent incident.

And the Bills.

Jags rumored front runner...which would be interesting since former Jags star Byron Leftwich could be starting in Roethlisberger's place in Pittsburgh

Kharma says he should be shipped to Oakland... although If Jacksonville traded for Rothlisberger and still drafted Tebow, it would certainly be entertaining.

Re: Steelers Actively Shopping Big Ben for a Top 10 Pick

Ok here are my thoughts on the trade and the suspension.

#1 The suspension is right in line, and I heard on Sirius NFL radio it could go past 6 games if Ben fails to conform to the guide lines set forth by Rodger Goddell or the pyschologist gives a bad report to the NFL during his pyscho analysis. In my mind Ben is getting off easily. I do not know if any of you have followed the case reports, but I have as I. My mother was recently sexually assualted in her own home. A man knocked on the door, mother answered and he sexauly assaulted her in the first degree. She was the only one home and the perp was watching her for 3 days studying her habits. I can't tell you the anger I still feel just typing this.

They way the whole act went down is utterly sick, and it is more of a star player using his fame and also his feelings of invinsibility to get away with rape. Rather than using his star power to find a willing participant which I am sure there are plenty of them out there.

#2 The Steelers as a franchise and particulary the Rooney Family should get this guy of thier team. This is his second offense, and I am having a hard time beleiving that the incident that took place out west was in any way harmless, and it would seem that Ben is going down a very destructive path and picking up some extremely dangerous behavior. After the motorcycle wreck and 2 civil sexuall assault cases I would not want this asshole on my football team. I don't care how many superbowls this douche has won. YOU DON'T IN ANY WAY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN, BEAT WOMEN, OR SEXUALLY ABUSE WOMEN. This is a pathetic excuse of a man and a professional football player. I could go on but I will discontinue my rant on Ben. He isn't worth the time I have spent on the subject already.
