There's plenty to choose from.

They probably saw something they liked, gave him a no SB contract, and will be pleasantly surprised if he does anything more than make the practice squad.

Man - this mob looks to eat its own quickly. Can we at least wait more than one week before we castigate the FO for a horrible off season??
I agree with you, I haven't seen the terms of the contract and I suspect a lot of the other people complaining haven't either, they might have signed the guy for a cap-friendly bargain price of 500,000 a year in return for a Pro Bowl player for all we know. Unfortunately though, this is the corner that Snyder, the FO, and Gibbs 2.0 have painted themselves into. Because they have a history of bad moves in the past now everything they do is a target. They brought this on themselves.

So now we need to blast them over a practice squad type of move?

C'mon this thread is just ridiculous. It was a tough season so I can understand people being on edge, but I really hope we're not going to spend the entire offseason blasting every move no matter how insignificant it is.

Re: A Signing Already?!

As am I. Honestly, I'm not going to ask for wins or losses. I'm going to ask for the team to stay healthy all season long. That way there are no excuses.

Sorry I should have specified the responses to this thread are what's ri-goddamn-diculous, not the original post.

I tend to agree. Nothing to get panties in a bunch over for any reason whatsoever. Not a bad move, not a good move.

Gibbs and Company brought the microscope upon themselves. If he refuses to change course in how players are selected and scouted then Im gonna pile on every chance I get until they prove they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

How about we at least let them get out of the gate this offseason before determining they aren't changing course. Sorry but this pickup didn't warrant some of the assanine responses.

Why is this signing so awful yet you had no problem suggesting this? How is it so different?

Lordy... Yes, they have brought scrutiny upon themselves. Deservedly so. But to "pile on" to a CFL signing that is as close to meaningless as possible one week into the offseason? That's not "piling on" that's just shouting out ridiculous bile b/c your convinced of your own damn brilliance and can't take a rational approach to even the most insignificant move.

What's next - A tirade when Brittney doesn't make next year's cut on the cheerleading squad?
