I actually think the eagles should be favored by 10 in our current scenario
I'm into upsets - never say never, just watched JD's hail mary for about the 20th time, with the biggest grin my wife says, however it looks to me that we're too stretched by injuries for this one & will likely get exposed. I so hope to be wrong & we get the upset win..... head vs heart

Of course if he is cleared to play you play him. But a hamstring is not like bruised ribs where you can't do further damage and it's simply a pain tollerence thing. We all know how important this game is, but there are also many more important games left to be played as well and it would be short sighted to play him while he was still injured.

glad we agree if they are medically cleared you play them. We all know that DQ isn't going to go against medical advice, so the whole discussion seems kind of redundant. If cleared then play. if not cleared don't play.

This team has been pretty good without Lattimore and can beat Philly with or without him.
Better get to used to playing without him because he is usually on the sidelines.

Agreed. Don't play anyone if they're still hurt. If they are cleared, play them. All of us need to quit overanalyzing this. Yes, Philly is good but so are we. We didn't even play that great and still almost beat a very good Pittsburgh team, honestly should have. I trust the coaches and medical staff to get all of this correct. Our boys just need to get healthy.

No, they should play if they are good to go. If any of them don't feel right, then sit them.

Yes, the Eagles game tomorrow is important but not as important as the rest of our season is. It won't matter if we win the game tomorrow, only to lose multiple games afterwards.

Re: Iggles pre game thread

This is an extremely tough matchup for the Commanders, especially if Lattimore is not playing. The eagles have a great RB, a running QB and two really good WR's. That is tough for any defense, but is especially tough on a defense that has to sell out to stop either. And Washington has been either all in to stop the run, opening up the passing game. Or all in to stop the passing game and get gashed by the running game.

IMO, if we are to win this game we will have to get controlled pressure on Hurts and make him through ugly pics and we will have to score every possession. I expect a 35 - 31 type game.

Re: Iggles pre game thread

I think both defenses will hold up better than expected, 24-23 type of W

Re: Iggles pre game thread

If Lattimore plays we win by 10+. If not, we only win by less than 10.

8-3 here we come. There's a new sheriff in town.

Lattimore is ruled out. ends that discussion.

This will be a repeat of Balt/Pitt games. hopefully we land on the right side.

Re: Iggles pre game thread

Other than knowing nothing other than he has been out for several weeks this season. My guess is Lattimore will be ready for the Titans game

Where's that official? Latest injury report for Tuesday simply a says DNP. Likely he's out if he's not practicing but nothing official from what I can find?

Re: Iggles pre game thread

Eagles win this one, probably handily. We're not quite in their class.
