The defense always used to dominate the offense in practice when Williams was here, so I don't see why this would be any different, but I doubt he will do anything particularly shocking. He can win his one-on-ones at pretty much every position.
I would add the GW will have his players fired up to show Dan/Vinny that they had " the guy " to coach the Skins and let him walk . Maybe the Saints Offense gets off to a slow start and we make a game of it ... no I'am not betting on it , but we have beat them the past two times .

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

Sorry guys,

This is the game our D gets unmasked, and our O doesn't show.

41 - 3 Saints. They may even have a shut out, and the only reason it is that close is because Payton is classier than BB.

I really hope I am wrong, but the Saints have only scored in the 20's 3 times. That's kinda like the Skins 2 times, except that where our 2 times are our season high, their 3 times are their season lows. We have never scored over 27, they have never scored under 24.

I hope we upset them, but that is exactly what it would be. My guess is that the line on the game will have to be in the 14 to 17 point range.

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

Saints could be in for a little Monday night letdown.

That said, the Saints simply have too much and will find a way to win this one but I don't see a blowout.

Saints 27
Skins 17

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

I've been thinkin upset on this one for a while provided the Saints beat NE. Now that they have, this is their trap game & we click in all phases:
Skins 28-24.

They did look great last night but I also thought Brady had maybe his worst game in 5-6 years. He missed some guys open & they threw so many looks at him that he looked almost like a rookie qb at times. The Saints can't play w/that energy 2 weeks in a row.

JC & co. know the Grilliams D & while GW will be fired up to play us, our D will be fired up to show their old boss that they can still do it w/out him.

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

I'm thinking that the Skins D might show up to play a little bit, but that really just means keeping the Saints under 40.

Saints 31 -17

And, btw, it's Sean Payton

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

The Saints have too many weapons on offense. The breakdowns on defense will happen again. The Saints will find a way to get wide open receivers. It could get ugly. The only chance the Skins have is to play stellar defense and control the clock with the running game.

i agree it would be the Skins to give the Saints their 1st loss after they gave the Lions their 1st win...especially cuz they've been playin better.

except the skins have been leaving recievers wide open lately and Saints WILL exploit that if that happens

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

I could see the skins playing competitive the first half, but they'll get deflated after the saints score on a blown coverage. If they don't score in that manner twice or more...

seriously, going into the philly game, we knew that our #1 priority was to cover jackson because he torched us the last game. and yet he gets a wide open TD....unbelievable.

dare i mention the denver game... our secondary is so overrated.

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

Just like the Broncos, the Saints come in on a short week, just won a huge emotional victory and they over look the Skins. The Saints are slowed down on the natural turf. Any given Sunday any team can be beaten and the Skins squeak out a win. They called me crazy at work when I called the Denver game that no one said we would win. Any Given Sunday.

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

I was not that impressed with the Saints and cannot figure out how they are 11 & 0. If I can see the holes in this team I'm sure our coaches can and we jump on them with a win.
