Re: Around the NFL Week 4

Wow Jared Goff, talk about the perfect game.

Come to think about it, I can't remember a time with so many QBs having success with teams that didn't draft them. Goff, Smith, Mayfield, Carr (?), Darnold, Fields, Stafford etc. Am I right in thinking the NFC east and AFC South are the only divisions where all 4 starting QBs were drafted by their team?

Lions looked strong. Their o is legit and complete. It really should be their year in the NFC this season.

It would be nice to have Adams, but it's not worth giving up capital for him unless it's a late round pick.

Yeah, we don't really need him. The passing game is clicking. Maybe a 5th or later. But Noah Brown and McCaffrey are looking like pretty solid 2/3 options.

McCaffrey's catch over the middle in the redzone was sick. Kid has some hands. He also caught that ball while on his route. Impressive.

Lions' players would run through a wall for Campbell. I'll never forget him crying in tough losses postgame his first season. Impossible not to like him.

I am getting the sense that Quinn is generating that sentiment in Washington. The celebration of KK getting the game back was freaking awesome. What a difference a year makes.

I also don't want to trade for Adams. I would be very surprised if we do. If we didn't trade for Aiyuk highly doubt we trade for Adams. Passing game is working fine now.

At this point, Chiefs should look into Adams. Chiefs' super bowl window is still open and Adams definitely can help them immediately.

LOL:

Quote:
Entering this season, Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson had fumbled seven times in 41 games — with just one last season.

But now he’s fumbled once in each of New England’s first four matchups this year.

That could at least temporarily cost Stevenson his starting job, as head coach Jerod Mayo said in his Wednesday press conference that the ball security issues could have him turn to Antonio Gibson.

“That’s definitely under consideration,” Mayo said. “I’ve had multiple conversations with Rhamondre. But look, we can’t preach that ball security is job security and still have him out there the majority of the time.
