Last many years, I would have likely walked away from the TV. It is nice to watch these games this year and actually have hope and OPTIMISM. |

Yeah, we have lots of work to do still. Browns are no pushover, they lost to some teams we beat (Philly, NYG, Cincinnatti, Baltimore), but they also beat Cincinnatti and Pittsburgh whom we lost to...gotta bring our A game on the road. If we stop Trent Richardson, and do enough to bother Weeden, we should be ok. I'm more worried about the last game of the season though. Glad we are at home for that one. It sure is nice to be talking about the playoffs going into week 15... |

Matty was talking about people calling the game "over" before it's over. Sure, I cursed the team for their goof-ups and cheered for their shining moments. That's what fans do. What I didn't do is call GAME OVER before it's over. It's ok though, after 20 years of bad football, it's learned behavior

This could be a wild division race, granted the Giants have to lose, but using the generator you can easily create scenarios where we are division winner, wild card, or out, all with reasonable W-L expectations for all the teams that are vying for the 2 wild card spots and our division.
Pretty exciting that one loss doesn't knock us out with 3 to play. vice versa kind of a bummer that 3 wins doesn't guarantee it either... Whatever - good season, especially once Garcon got back. |

NC you are something else man. Please go back and read the gameday thread. You cursed out Williams, Morris for fumbling, Cooley, the defense several times and the offense as you put it "this shit isnt going to cut it in the NFL or ANY OTHER LEAGUE".
I on the other hand stated twice at half time that we would win the second half. You have as much rite pointing out people who were giving up as the Rev does today. |

Because I call Williams a bum and say that going 2-10 on 3rd down conversion isn't cutting it in the NFL doesn't mean I'm giving up on my team. It means I'm point out obvious things wrong that need to be corrected. Giving up on the team would be saying.............GAME OVER! THIS TEAM SUCKS AND WE ARE DOOMED. You are trying to compare apples to oranges my friend. Guess what? Williams is still a bum, and going 3-10 on 3rd down conversion (before Kirk came in) isn't going to cut it in the NFL. Having 394 (yards prior to KC) yards of offense with only 14 points to show for it says it's not a efficient offense. Not even sure why you have your panties in a bunch about this. I was just pointing out several people gave up on the game before it was over. Calm down bro.

It'l be interesting to see how the SHanahans adjust the game plan this week. RGIII playing with a bum knee or Captain Kirk at the helm. If KC wouldnt have gotten in on the QB draw id like see what the feeling on that call would be around here.

Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee)
When the Redskins went 4 or 5 wide for that 2 point conversion, I said to my Dad watching the game with me on the couch, "the last thing Baltimore would expect is a slow white boy QB sneak up the middle." What a great call by Kyle, totally unexpected by everyone, but me. Amazing game. Skins need to keep winning and now I'm cheering for the Packers to beat the Bears next week.

Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee)
I think Morris' running and having a legit #1 WR will help Cousins if he starts. It makes sense to rest RG3. Maybe have RG3 active and bring him off the bench if Cousins is not working out?
