IMHO, I think Sam will be a quality starter in this league for a handful of years but he is not the next super star by any means or a QB that can carry a team on his own to a SB. If we are staying on the Sam train we need to boost the O-line, maybe find a more explosive back and he needs a go to super star TE.

Sam is still only 23 and hasn't had a full season. He is taking some lumps with the sacks but this is something he can no doubt improve on.

The fact that he is posting those numbers with the amount of sacks he is getting is even more telling … not all those sacks are on him .. we got only two Recievers (Terry and Curtis) that seem to get separation and really no big time TE … no running game that scares anybody.. so those numbers are pretty dang impressive.. imagine Sam behind a good OL with a top TE and a running game … he easy would be top 10 !
