+1

I hate how much I love watching football sometimes - like even now I know every Sunday from Sept-Feb my schedule is busy. Because sometimes it pains me to enjoy watching a league where you can do some heinous shit and not only will you not get punished for it - you will be rewarded handsomely if you are talented enough.

Like Cleveland anticipates his punishment this year - so they structure his contract in such a manner that he's only paid 1 mil for the season so he won't lose any cash when he gets suspended. Like they are actively gameplanning about how to reward him around the punishment for 22 sexual assault/harassment allegations. Way to set the fucking standard Cleveland.

So glad he didn't come here - we got enough problems with perverts in leadership positions to deal with this shit.

So that's 10 to 13 M/y. Significantly less than we expected. Maybe more than we can afford. But that confirms what I thought all along: if they want to, they can sign a quality MLB under 10M/y.

We just assume Wagner would look at us with an open mind.

When in reality we are competing with the reigning Super Bowl champs for his services.

Reigning SB champs? Or top 5 fucked up organization in the NFL, even with Ron's steady hand trying to make a difference. Easy choice for Wagner. Easy choice for Russell Wilson and every other legit All-Pro we've tried to woo over the years.

Yeah yeah I'm not saying we should've signed Wagner. I'm saying if we want to sign one of these guys, we can.

Patriots acquired WR DeVante Parker and a 2022 fifth-round pick from the Dolphins for a 2023 third-round pick.

SFOK, surely you could do a little better than just copy/pasting a link. Maybe a description so we know why it's in our best interest to click the link? Step your game up.

Or just copy pasting the actual tweet:

@BenStandig
Ron Rivera tells @TheAthletic no teams have reached out to the Commanders about a possible trade for Terry McLaurin — “and we wouldn’t entertain it.”

But teams are monitoring the situation amid a wild WR spending spree that isn't over.

Because there is nothing else to discuss about, let's play a game - what kind of offer would it take for you to accept if a team approaches us about trading for McLaurin?

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition

I would do it for the same package KC got for Tyreek: 2022 first-round pick, 2022 second-round pick, 2022 fourth-round pick, 2023 fourth-round pick, and 2023 sixth-round pick.

No player is untradeable. There is a price for everyone.

They "wouldn't entertain it" until someone gives them an offer they can't refuse.

For Mike Ditka to obtain power again and give us a call.

Draft Pick Trades:

@AdamSchefter
TRADE: Eagles sending picks No. 16, No. 19 and No. 194 in the sixth round to the Saints in exchange for pick No. 18, No. 101 in the third round, No. 237 in the 7th round AND a 2023 first-round pick and 2024 second-round pick, per sources.

Saints now at 16, 19; Eagles at 15, 18.

At first sight it looks a little bit of an odd trade, Eagles giving up a 1st for a future 1st, a 3rd and a future second.

Eagles stacking up mad draft picks. Wasn't like they dominated last year tho, kind of weird to not want to add 3 1st rounders.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition

I think the Eagles are preparing for a scenario where Hurts doesn't work out and can trade up for a QB next year.

I think that is the ideal situation for us as well, except that we need a trade partner. I'm hoping Pittsburgh becomes that partner.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition

I think it is interesting to have the Iggles owner talk about regretting not drafting Wilson, given that they were apparently in the mix to get Wilson via a trade. This doesn't sound like a vote of confidence for Hurts.

https://www.delawareonline.com/story...ks/7228705001/

I'm mentioning this given my previous comment that they're making plans if Hurts doesn't work out.
