You know...this might be great for the understanding...because you're gonna be blown away by how many moving parts story wise in the first 3 three seasons. Usually takes me an episode to completely remember where we left off and what everyone was doing...

The number of families and groups is staggering.

Also, my biggest advice is don't get attached to characters. its a bloodbath

I second your statement on GoT Matty, it's too late to get into it now so I'm also gonna binge it when it's over.

Re: The Good News Thread

I just bought an original picasso sketch. He did a bazillion sketches a day and some of his original quick sketches you can get for as low as $500. It came with a COA and bought from a reputable dealer but unless it is certified by Picasso's daughter, Ill never truly know if it is in fact real.

He would do hundreds of the same sketches. Mine is almost like this (^^ this is a print not original), he kinda smugged the lips a bit and the horns are sloppier and mine he put a border type thing on it.

--------------------

Sotheby's is currently doing an auction.

https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auct...icador-a-r-176

^^ you could probably get this original ceramic bowl for about 1k us dollars.

If it is real that’s awesome. My wife is an artist im gonna ask her what she knows about his sketches and their authenticity. Either way if ya goy the coa than its an awesome conversation piece!

WOW, awesome!!! When it comes to art my taste is simple , the very traditional Americans in Norman Rockwell (an Illustrator he called himself) and Grandma Moses. Yeah it's not the level of Picasso but it's what I like. Good for you !

Re: The Good News Thread

My grandpa was a painter. Not as a full time job, but he was really good. Which is weird, because no one else on either side of my family, including myself, has 1 ounce of artistic ability in our bodies.

On this day 72 years ago ... Auschwitz was liberated.

My brain treats the Holocaust like it was ancient egytian times or some far off historical era ... it was just 72 years ago.

Not many movies punched a bigger hole in my gut than Schindler's List. I also took a class in college on the Holocaust. Shit changes your perspective on life for sure.
