Please, dont tell me you wouldnt want the best corner in the league in a Skins uni, who balls every week, makes the play that sends your team to the superbowl.....AND THE ABSOLUTE BEST THING EVER, GOT IN TOM BRADY"S FACE after BRADY talked shit to Sherman during the game, and Sherm came up with the win.

Y! SPORTS
Since RGIII is a Christian, it makes it OK to bring in Dez Bryant or Justin Blackmon because your ying-yang feels balanced?

No thank you to Sherman. I would not want one of the worst headcase thugs in the league on our team no matter the talent level. This goes for DeSean Jackson and the other WRs I mentioned also.

You think we have a circus now, bring Sherman in and watch the media's new obsession.

What? Nobody said anything about religion

Sherman isnt a thug, thats where people are wrong. Stanford grad, intelligent dude who is loud. No thug whats so ever. Desean isnt a thug, he's wanna be thug and also known as a "bitch".

Bring in Sherm, a legit shutdown corner, well spoken, emotional dude who loves his fans and you would witness a sea of Sherm jerseys in Fed Ex every week.

Yeah the post game interview was a little over the top, but you gotta consider the Circumstances and all. You would think he killed 3 babies with the way some people talk.

Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend

I keep hearing about his Stanford education. Stanford's star LB was arrested for DUI last year.

Sherman also failed a PED test but had it overturned on a technicality about how his urine sample was handled, not because he was proven innocent. The cup leaked and the tech transferred it to another cup...that was enough to get out of it for Sherman.

If he were a Redskin, I would love him. To me talking trash and acting like a moron every now and then is a part of being a person and an athlete. He has a personality, but lets not act like he is T.O. in San Fran like some here are. I have yet to hear his teammates say they hate playing with him.

Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend

Really? The Seahawks fan I work with immediately brought up the same thing..."but he's a Stanford thug!" is an exact quote.

I'm not sure why people care so much about the Sherman thing. Outside of Crabtree and his teammates/family there is no reason to take what he said personally.

And isn't a thug a criminal? Why is he being called a thug?

Yea and the president before him went to Harvard and Yale. I do not think anyone's education is an excuse for behavior.

Yes, a thug is a criminal. And no one here has established why this an appropriate label for Sherman. Is Sherman lacking in sportsmanship? Yes. But this doesn't make him a thug.

Sherman isn't a thug. An asshole? Definitely. Arrogant blowhard? Absolutely. But by all accounts, he's an alright guy. No altercations with the law... I mean the guy's from Compton. If you can come out of Compton and end up being a generally good guy, then I have to pat you on the back.

And why does everything turn political with you? You and your agenda pushing is getting real old.

Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend

Wonder if people were calling Tom Brady a thug when he went after the refs (carolina game) and proceeded to berate them?

Ahh...so only black kids with dreads and a big mouth are called thugs. Got it.

Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend

Calling him a thug is definitely a cheap shot and only shows the stupidity and ignorance coming from the person calling him that.
