Re: Redskins expected to pursue Peppers

LL56 is the only source who i "respect" over there. he's legit and doesnt make stuff up. that said, he appears to have been wrong in this case.

Wow, Bears doing well...too bad Cutler screwed them out of so many draft picks...they have a lot of ground to make up.

he most likely got it from one of PFT's reporters twitter pages, caplan or something like that. i think this was reported a few days ago . .

honestly dont use ES.

TK makes vague educated guesses then, if it comes true, he chirps like he predicted it. im going to say sage is a possibility the skins will look at. if it comes true, i will act like an inside source instead of an outside speculator.

lavarleap made the right call on a jersey change 2 years ago. that was it, since then he has played the same game as TK.

jsteelz seems to atleast have some credibility as he doesnt speculate on everything then claim insider knowledge when he ends up being correct on 1 out of 10 guesstamations.

the funniest thing is TK trying to act like he is responsible for misleading the media into thinking the skins were going to be big players come midnight. of course anything he says is vague to allow wiggle room either way.

why do i care . . .

re: Peppers signs with the Bears (updated - again)

Does anyone remember a couple years back before we played the Bears (TC came in relief & won game, began 4 game win streak to playoffs), JLC did a comparison of the two teams over the previous years. He said the bears had a plan to build through the draft & re-sign their own.

Wow, look at them now, traded big for their qb of the future, and now signing an old rb & big name DE in free agency.

They have OL issues like us, not sure what good Taylor is going to do for them until they address that

you dont need a good offensive line if you have great skill position players.

They still have Matt Forte as well. It's not like they abcolutely needed another back. They need Oline. Matty is right, that was one of thier weaknesses last year.

Yeah that worked out great for them last year. Can't wait to see Cutler taking those 7 step drops under Martz, he's gonna get killed.

The Bears are giving an impression of desperation.

I know how it feels now to be a fan of a team that (knock on wood) is quiet in free agency while watching others chase the big names. Nice to be on the other side (so far, we've still got plenty of time for danny to sign some checks).

this is exactly what the jets were doing the season before the mangenius was fired. lovie and company know they'll all be canned if they dont have a good year.
