He is just as important, when he was out our D was out of sync. Just ask Keim and see what answer you get. Curl did more for the D than you think.

Oh come on. Nobody is saying Curl isn’t valuable but he isn’t Payne valuable. If you had to choose one you are choosing Payne 8 days a week. I hope we keep them both

Nothing is terrible if James Earl Jones says it. But I get your point.

Cray-cray is another terrible one. Cringe!

Note - I hate the word 'cringe' the most out of all the words in the universe. But since we're using shit we hate, this will be the 1st and last time you'll see me use this word here.

All these words are definitely cringe which is the king of all these words. Wow when your team doesn’t make the playoffs and it is January there is really nothing to talk about. Not that this exchange wasn’t adorbs, cus it was…..

Pay both of them. They are easily both 2 of our top 10 players.

And it's a possibility if we let Howell cook.

I know we have 1 more year with Curl, so it's a bit staggered, but we can't let Payne and Curl leave.

After Allen they are our next 2 best guys on defense. Can't just draft replacements as a sure fire system.

Yeah, but if we dont extend Curl now and he balls out it is gonna cost us more next year to keep him. Hopefully he is more reasonable than his father at the negotiating table.

Adorbs. Lol and a little, or since we don't spell words out completely in 2023, a lil creeps.

And yeah, you can only do so many mock drafts, so here we are.

I do at least ten a day. Complete addict. I usually go heavy oline early with the hopes that Sam is the guy because Richardson is almost always there at 16.

I'm all for extending him now. I mentioned 4 years and 65 million earlier. It's not 80 million, but it's a nice check each year.

It takes 2 to tango, so hopefully we offer a really legitimate contact. Then let Curl and his team decide if they're flexible or unreasonable.

That's awesome dedication to mock drafting.

I typically go CB or OL in the 1st. And no matter what, I always draft 3 OL at a minimum. Sometimes 4. It's all pointless doing them before FA, but I enjoy seeing the different names to learn more about.

Thats over 16 a year. That is real close to what the top guys are making. Idk. Take your 4 year 45 and be happy. Please. Lol.

That would be sweet. Maybe 45 is the new 80.

I know we drafted him and therefore took the risk, but we also got a really good player for practically free my NFL standards. If you think of it like a 9 year contract for 70 million it sounds pretty good lol.

I just don't think we're in a position to let good young players leave. But you can't keep everyone either. If we can keep Payne or Curl I'll be happy. If we lose both in back to back years I'll be a sad panda.

To me FA is just a cushion for my mocks. Lol. When Im done and im like crap i didn’t really upgrade at LB or DB but FA got that. Yeah i would be ecstatic if we got a T, C, G in the first four rounds. Build that oline like the dline. Trenches is what its all about. Makes all the other pieces better. Allows quarterbacks and wr’s more time, and eases the job of the db’s and inside backers on the other side. To me our oline is priority number one. Along with signing Payne. Keep those trenches solid. Every other player on the field lives off of them on both sides of the ball. Imagine if Chase comes back strong too? We got the weapons in place we need to protect Sam. In FA get that ilb that we lack and just sprinkle depth everywhere.

As a Howellite, fixing the OL is absolutely priority No. 1. I have zero faith in Rivera to actually do it right. But we need to add at least 4 new OL thru FA and the draft.

And I'm pleading for a tackle to be drafted within the 1st 2 rounds.
